My Views on Modern Technology

Knowledge can change one‘s fate, struggle can achieve one‘s future and technology can upgrade one‘s life. There is no doubt that modern technology has gained its way to popularity in our daily life. However, opinions on modern technology differ as follows:

Some people think that modern technology brings significant convenience to our life. For example, smart phones have shortened the physical distance and computers have connected people all around the world together. However, others suggest that what come with it are problems that could be really difficult to handle with, like environmental pollution and expanded interpersonal distance.

As far as I‘m concerned, nothing in the world could be wonderfully perfect and there is no exception for modern technology. Pleasure always comes with pain. While we are complaining about the moral or ethical problems caused by it, we should be aware that the development of technology is the trend that no one could resist. Either we ride with the tide, or we die in the old times.
