In a word, I make use of funny and vivid pictures to help students know the new words. I show some pictures about the new words on the blackboard and use simple sentences to describe them. Then I present and explain the words to the students and read them. So students will know the meaning of these words by this vivid method. What’s more, students can practice and consolidate words by the next reading and activities. So I believe they will really know and learn the new words.
