The owners now admitted that they may have left the ear doors unlocked, but only one owner was not certain whether be had locked the garage door. The police have therefore assumed that the gang find it easier to break into garages, where vehicles are often left unlocked at night, than into locked cars, parked on the road-side in flay time or at night. They advise car owner to lock up their cars, even when they are kept in locked garages.
