The increase in number can be accounted for by a number of factors. First, our government restored the Entrance Examination enrolling young people to universities. In order to send the young to university, parents and teachers assign more and more homework to them at the cost of their eyesight. Another factor is that parents and teachers, even pupils failed to realized the importance of exercise. Finally owing to fierce competition in Entrance Examination, boys and girls" burdens become heavier and heavier. Meanwhile, their eye-sight becomes poorer and poorer.
For me, the effective way to solve this problem is to enlarge university enrollment to admit more students.
Only through this way can boys and girls" burdens be lightened, and their eyes be protected.
