As a result, the competition for resources has become more and more severe and the urban infrastructure can't accommodate the fast growing population. Traffic congestion in the cities can well illustrate this. These problems lead to the decline of the life quality of urban city dwellers.
Moreover, it may be difficult for those migrants who just settle down in big cities to adapt to the fast tempo and high prices in the cities. They are hard to enjoy the equal opportunities on many aspects, such as social benefits, education and so on. In addition, with more and more youngsters moving to urban cities, there is a shortage of working force in the rural areas, which further slows down the development of agriculture and economy in rural areas accordingly.
To solve these problems: the government should make preferential policies to promote the development in rural areas. For example, the government can offer more subsidies for farmers to increase their income. Creating more job opportunities for farmers could be another solution.
