【正确答案】On June 1st, 2008 China issued a ban on plastic bags in supermarkets, department stores and all the markets. That means that plastic bags which used to be free of charge will not be provided to the customers free. Most of the people think highly of the ban and so do I, for white pollution must be dealt with urgently. The Chinese population is very large, which means that we have to waste a lot of energy in producing plastic bags. More importantly, this serves as a good chance to promote public awareness of environmental protection. Undoubtedly, the overuse and poor treatment of the plastic products make serious energy waste and environmental pollution possible. Thanks to the government, firm measures are taken to limit them. I am sure people will become accustomed to giving up the plastic bags. Only by changing the way we treat the earth can we form a harmonious relationship with it.
