Self-employed Working for someone else
Nowadays more and more students choose to be self-employed after graduation. As far as I am concerned, I prefer to be self-employed.

I can lead a more free-style life. I can do things on my own will. Moreover, I can decide how to do things; whereas those who are employed by others must do things according to the instructions of their employers.

I can allocate my time freely. Hence, if I am tired, I can rest in the daytime; if I am more energetic, I can work late at night, I have more freedom on the choice of work time than those who work for others.

Self-employment makes me depend on myself. I have to push myself to learn more and to work harder. I am the master of myself.
Being an employee, I have to be subject to discipline, and do things under the instructions of my boss, but that"s just part of life. I would rather work for someone else than be self-employed. I just want to lead a simple and regular life.

When you work for yourself, you have to earn more money to end up with the same take-home paycheck you"d get as a company employee. That"s much pressure for me.

In addition, besides work, I can still have free time to do the things I enjoy doing, and don"t need to think about the work all the time.

I don"t like a complicated life. I haven"t much ambition either in my life or in my career. I dream of living an easy life, a regular lift with discipline, without much risk.

Self-employment and working for others both have their own advantages. By self-employment, you can do things on your own will. Being an employee is less risky and entails fewer responsibilities. Personally, I would like to be self-employed for the unique experience and flexibility it can offer.
Being self-employed provides undoubtedly the greatest amount of creative control and career autonomy. I am a perfectionist and like to be involved in every step of the work process, which is why being self-employed suits me the best.
Another great benefit of being self-employed is its flexible hours. In a corporation, both the content and the schedule of the work are assigned to the employees. It would inevitably disregard the employees" personal interest and individuality to some extent. As a self-employed person, however, I can decide which jobs I will take or refuse. Nobody would order me around. Also, I could design my own work schedule and change it if it interferes with my personal life. This not only fosters creativity but boosts productivity.
Lastly, being self-employed best suits my personality. As a self-employed professional, I just work for myself. As 1 am not very fond of managing people and even less interested in being bossed around, the independence of self-employed work is ideal to me.
In conclusion, as self-employment allows me to control my creative process and balance work and life, and as it does not require ordering people or being ordered around, this is the most ideal form of employment for me.
