【正确答案】With a bachelor's degree, many college graduates want to be civil servants, which makes civil service examination in China the most important one besides the entrance examination to college. However, what works for one person may not work for another. As for me, I would like to work in a private enterprise.
There are of course pros to working as a civil servant. One is the stability: it is often harder to be fired. Another is the benefit packages, including great insurance and retirement benefits. Yet, what I consider important is the flexibility. Working in a private enterprise offers more room to move around from one position to another, knowing more about the company and learning more skills. Sometimes, it's even quicker to move up: While this is not impossible to do in the public sector, it can often prove more difficult, as there are tight restrictions placed on the entire process. In addition, pay raises are also easier to obtain, as the decisions can be made from within the company, instead of being based on central rules and regulations followed throughout the whole country.
In short, I prefer to work in a private enterprise though many of my classmates are busy preparing for the annual civil service examination.Anyway,I believe one may distinguish himself in any trade.
