Losses and Successes in my Life Experience

Life is full of ups and downs, there is no doubt that everyone will suffer from losses and achieve successes. Losses are so common in our life. No one can avoid them. When we fail to do something, we often feel so depressed that we have no interest in doing other things. Sometimes losses can also make us lose heart. Therefore, no one wants to be a loser. Success is what we all hope for, because it can bring us a sense of pride and a good reputation. The moment we succeed, we always feel so proud, as if having everything in our hands. Nevertheless, losses and successes are inseparable in our life. One must go through losses on the way to success.

Failure is the mother of success. Temporary losses don't mean that you can never be successful. It depends on what we do to deal with them. Those who are always afraid of losses and can't go through them will never win. But as long as we can get some lessons and experience from our losses, we'll be sure to achieve success.

I remembered I used to fail on my vocabulary test when I was in high school. I had difficulty in memorizing new words. I almost decided to give up learning English. Then one of my neighboring classmates kept on sending small sheet for me. In the end of the semester, I found I had finished my vocabulary book which proved to be extremely helpful to my English learning in the next study career. And now I am an English major, with memorizing words not being a problem for me any longer. How lucky I hadn't given up! Nobody is born as genius for success. Success tends to arrive after a series of trials and failures. Every time you encounter losses, please don't feel frustrated. What you should do is to learn lessons from them and try not to make similar mistakes later. With confidence and perseverance, you are bound to gain success.

To put it in a nutshell, losses and success are both indispensable parts in one's life. It's unlikely for us to achieve successes without being plagued by losses. Losses will help to build up our willpower. We cannot neglect the important role they play in our life. The lessons learning from them will turn out to be beneficial for the achievement of our final success.
