Dear Sir/Madam,

I hope to draw your attention to the reduction in the standard of the food provided by the school canteen.

I really appreciate the well-prepared food which used to be available in the canteen. However, from thebeginning of March the variety of dishes was dramatically reduced, and there was a obvious decline in quality. I havealways been served overcooked or undercooked food since then. The sharp decrease in the number of students diningin the canteen makes me point out the problem by writing this letter.

I would be very grateful if you could explain to me why this decline in standard has occurred,and whether theschool canteen intends to take steps to rectify the situation.
