Mrs. Mason lives in a two-bedroom apartment with her two small children. There is a small kitchen, a bathroom and a small living room. She also has underground parking for her car. She has lived there for a year and a half.
There are a few problems with her apartment. A burner on her stove doesn''t work. The water tap on her kitchen sink drips a little. There is also a crack in her living room window. She and her children like her apartment, but in two months the rent is going to go up to $850.00 a month. The rent is going to be too expensive for her. Now she pays $750.00 a month. Her utilities are included, but her cable TV isn''t.
Tomorrow Mrs. Mason is going to start looking for a new apartment around her area. She is going to look in the local newspaper in the classified section. There are apartments for rent in the classified section. She is also going to look at apartment buildings with "Vacancy" signs.
