According to the State Post Bureau, the number of express deliveries reached almost 100 million on Nov 11 last year, which means about 100 million boxes were needed to pack the parcels. How do you recycle these boxes? How do you dispose of Nov 11 shopping day waste?
无On the Shopping Waste of Double 11th
Almost every people around me are crazy about shopping on Nov. 11th , when you can get most of the goods on a lower price. The buyers and sellers contribute to a shopping myth on that day. But the enthusiastic shopping leads to another problem, that is the leftover of the delivery.
In fact, I don’t think it’s too huge a problem for me, since when I was very young, my family members were used to gathering all the recycled rubbish, like wasted paper, all kinds of boxes and some useless old books, and then sent them to the rubbish recycling station to sell. So it grows naturally when I get a lot of useless boxes, I will do exactly the same as my parents used to do.
I know there are a lot of people who are not willing to bother to gather a bunch of rubbish and sell them for little money. But recycled dustbins are everywhere, recently. So if everyone can just put the recycled rubbish into the right dustbin, it will save great time and energy to deal with the delivery box especially in the high peak such as double 11 th .
So I think we should strengthen the awareness of the importance of distinguishing different kinds of rubbish, to save both ours and others time and energy.
