Although the government has kept providing money for establishing pubic schools, it cannot satisfy the increasing demand of public education. Besides, these schools usually provide a better learning environment for students consisting of better facilities and better teaching equipment. Furthermore, the salary of teachers in private schools is normally higher than that in public schools. Therefore, they can attract qualified teachers.
As far as I am concerned, I won"t send my child to a private school. For one thing, the teaching quality in private schools in China is generally not as good as that in public schools. For another, the tuition fee in a private school is normally higher than that in a public school. Last but not least, students who graduate from private schools are usually discriminated against while seeking their jobs.
