【答案解析】[参考范文] NEETS
NEET is the abbreviation of the young who are Not currently engaged in Education, Employment or Training. A survey carried out recently indicates that 70% of the unemployed young people in our country now live off their parents, thus becoming Neets. The booming of Neets not only blocks the developments of these young adult, but also questioned our traditional family values, even becomes a serious issue for the whole society. Therefore, it's high time that measures were taken to improve the situation.
According to me, the first step we may take is to change our traditional family values to some extent but to adopt new parenting style. In today's world with much more fierce competition and overwhelming pressure, the parents should foster their kids to be independent and self-reliant because they cannot live on someone else for their whole lives. If the parents cannot let the kids realize that raising their own capabilities and abilities is the key to a happy life but to let them depend on, they actually does harm to their loved ones and may suffer the bitter result sooner or later.
Secondly, the education system should also reform to train more talents needed in the society. According to the survey carried out in Beijing, many young people cannot find a job just because what they learn is not relevant to the real work while the employers complain they cannot find the ones their companies really need.
Thirdly, the government should also engage in this challenging job. On one hand, it should create more job opportunities for the young. On the other hand, several programs should be launched to promote the awareness of independence among the young.
These measures may not guarantee success, but the pay-offs are worth the efforts to reduce the number of Neets for our country.
