What Events Make a Person an Adult?

There are huge differences between a child and an adult. For instance, children are small, weak and lack of judgment. On the contrary, adults are big, strong and more independent. Any children will become an adult one day in the future. However, what events make a person an adult? Becoming an adult is based on a variety of events, namely, when one’s body changes, when one’s mind expands, and when one accumulates experiences. And my opinions are as follows.

When we graduate, we find a job and live on our own earnings. We work hard and do a good job to realize our value by making our own contributions to the society. We plan how to use our time and money to make ends meet. We help who are in the hardship. Then we get married and have children. We teach them how to walk, how to speak and how to become adults. We also make our parents and relatives happy. We become adults since the moment.

In addition, this kind of change not only happens physically, but also mentally. This expansion of the mind is a result of the numerous experiences a person has on his or her way to becoming an adult. As one moves through the world, they gather important information about how the world works. This information becomes one’s personal database of knowledge: such a database is absolutely necessary if one is to grow past childhood. The experiences of which I speak are the happenings in our day-to-day lives. We are constantly placed in situations where we must choose one path or another. Of course, one will make mistakes along the way. These mistakes are an important learning tool, which help us become wise adults.

In conclusion, I think that the list of events that make a person an adult can be continued. There are many different life’s situations e.g. getting a driving license or going to the army can change us from child to an adult. Those situations build our self-confidence and make us independent. So my point is that every person has different events that influence his or her life and make him or her an adult.
