W: Did you have a good time today?
M: Oh, no. My job is really starting to get me down. I just don''t feel inspired about it any more. I''m tired out after the long hours of work all day.
W: I thought you liked working in that computer center.
M: I did. I thought it was a decent job as a technician. But now with the long hours of typing work, it''s starting to get to me. Our department manager is so demanding. Almost everyday he asks me to type the reports. I suddenly realize that I''m working as a typist.
W: You told me you would talk to him over lunch today.
M: No way. He talked so much and I had no chance to talk.
W: Then you should try to talk to your general manager.
M: I don''t see the general manager often. He is always on the road.
W: Well, there is no sense in just staying here. You should try to find another job. I''m sure there are lots of jobs you''re good at.
M: Thanks. I''ll see if I can find out about other jobs. I''ve always enjoyed working with people and I have a good head for mathematics and statistics.
W: Then why don''t you apply for a job as a clerk in a bank?
M: You''re probably right. I''ll go there tomorrow.
