W: John, are you busy?
M: As usual. What can I do for you?
W: I''ve just opened the suggestions box, and I wanted to have a word with you about some of the suggestions.
M: OK.
W: The first one is about the morning tea break. At present it''s at 11:00, and the suggestion is to change it to 10:30.
M: Well, and what do you think?
W: I think we should have it a bit earlier, if that''s OK.
M: I have no objection at all.
W: Good. The second one is about the printer.
M: Another complaint about the noise?
W: Afraid so.
M: Well, we can''t replace it. But it might be a good idea to get a better cover so that it isn''t as noisy.
W: OK, I''ll investigate. Right, the next one is about flexible work time. Don''t you think we should consider it? Most of the other companies in Southtown have already introduced it.
M: I''m afraid the Managing Director has already said no to that one, and I agree with him for the moment. I think we should look at it again next year.
W: Fine. And finally, there''s a suggestion about reorganizing the furniture in the main office. The secretaries all say that they are very cramped. Don''t you think we should do something about it?
M: Yes, absolutely. It''s been on my mind for quite a while. I suggest that we have a word with Christine Adams, the Office Manager, and see what can be done.
W: Good, that''s all. Thanks very much.
