听力题 Poor English skills, educational differences and low mobility are among the top problems holding Chinese professionals back in the global job market, according to research issued last weekend. Leading management consulting firm, Mckinsey & Company, said only one out of 10 professional Chinese C andidates are suitable for multinationals. The firm''s study was based on interviews with 83 human-resource professionals. It was found that only one out of 10 Chinese job C andidates from nine professionals would be suitable for work in multinationals. The professions surveyed are engineers, financial workers, accountants, life science researchers, doctors, nurses and support staff. On the top of the generally low suitability of Chinese graduates, they are also very dispersed and not very mobile. Poor English skill was another major reason given for rejecting Chinese job applicants. Director Andrew Grant, who leads Mckinsey''s Greater China office, identified three key underlying issues: " China must dramatically increase funding for its universities, improve its English-language instruction by recruiting teachers from abroad, and do more to attract many students who study a-broad home.
