During the enrollment process, my transcripts were scrutinized by the dean of admissions. He told me, upon reviewing my transcripts, that I didn't show the "mental aptitude" to attend West Virginia State. I explained to him that, at that time, I was a young, immature man, wasting my parents' money. Now I was an adult, and spending my own money, and I had every intention to do as well as possible. Finally, he told me that my enrollment was accepted under the provision that there was fine with me for my poor transcripts.
