“Future”, a word loaded with the meaning “forward”, “wonderfulness” and “longing”, is an irresistible temptation to any one, because every one is longing for change and a better life, thus they are willing to estimate and make supposition of the future.
　　Perhaps, science is still mysterious, wonderful and gorgeous to the Chinese who live outside the threshold of it. We are still longing for the life of the information era, the longevity and health brought by biological engineering, and the chance for watching the stars on the way to Mars by spaceship…but if we lack the courage to make self-retrospection when science is not that sophisticated, we are likely to encounter the evilness of the future. When that time comes, nothing else but the Doomsday referred in the Bible will confront us.
