M: Hey, good to see you back. How was your trip? Everything smooth sailing?
W: Not bad, though I had a little trouble before boarding.
M: What was wrong?
W: I was caught in a traffic jam and almost missed the flight. But I managed to get to the airport in time.
M: Congratulations! Which flight did you take?
W: British Airways, Flight BA 554.
M: Was it easy for you to find the right counter?
W: Yes, the information was displayed on the monitor.
M: Since there was not much time left for you, I hope there wasn''t a terrible line-up at the counter.
W: Luckily, no. The queue was quite short. But I had another problem.
M: What was that?
W: When I handed in my passport, the airline agent looked at it for a long time.
M: Why? Did the agent think your passport was a fake?
W: No, she didn''t, but she told me that my passport was going to expire in a week. So you see, I had to fly back quickly.
M: I hope that was the end of your troubles.
W: Not completely. I still had trouble with my baggage.
M: What was the problem?
W: It was overweight. It took me a while to go through the procedure.
M: Any good news before you boarded the plane?
W: Yes, when I asked for a window seat, I got one. You know, I wouldn''t like to take an aisle or middle seat where I couldn''t enjoy the view.
M: I prefer an aisle seat, though. So that I can stretch my legs and occasionally stand up.
W: Finally the agent gave me the boarding pass, and it said that my flight would be boarding at Gate 24 in just minutes. So I had to run!
M: But you made it! Good for you.
