With the development of technology, people’ s life seems to have been occupied by the smart phone. In order to enable the elderly to keep pace with the age, the following are some steps we should take as ordinary citizens to educate the elderly to use the smart phone.

Firstly, we should admit that the elderly are slow with new technology. Therefore, it is vital for young people to be patient when teaching them to use the smart phone.

Secondly, some free lessons can be carried out in the community. The old people can get together to learn how to use the smart phone, which add much fun to the learning process.

Thirdly, we as daughters and sons, or granddaughters and grandsons can design a special course for the elderly like making a vocal record of the process or drawing some vivid pictures with detailed explanations.

Finally, we can keep frequent contact with them in order to get them familiar with several functions.
