Everything Has Its Two Sides
As a popular saying goes, “Everything has its two sides”. The way we look at things should change with situations because everything has its good and bad sides. To affirm blindly or deny blindly are incorrect. We should look at things in a comprehensive way.
For example, technology is a double-edged sword. It not only has positive sides but also negative sides. Undeniably, technology furnishes many merits and elevates the quality of our life. It makes the instant conversations, shopping without leaving one’s own room and holding the world in the palm of one’s own hand without traveling around the world into reality. However, technology also produces too many techno-serfs. They rely too much on technology and sometimes lead to great consequences. Doctor is one of them. They have fallen to the slavery of medical technique and there is an increasing number of misdiagnosis.
Industry is also a good case in point. With the rapid development of industry, GDP of our country has increased exponentially and the level of urbanization has improved. It also contributes in building our society into a prosperous one. Nevertheless, it is the development of industry that takes away the blue sky and threatens the health of the public.
In summary, everything has its two sides, just as the development of technology and industry. Next time we examine the nature of one new concept, do not just tout it or clout it too much.
