College Students Using Mobile Phones

The pie chart above presents different purposes of college students' use of mobile phones in a certain university. To be specific, the use of mobile phones for browsing through social media, playing games,studying, listening to music, shopping and other things accounts for 33%,21%,18%,15%,8% and 5% respectively.

An increasing number of college students are relying on mobile phones excessively. To our regret,study is not the major purpose of using mobile phones. Were the situation to continue, it would negatively affect the development and health of the younger generation.

In terms of the impact of high technology on our daily life, mobile phones could prove to be adouble-edged sword. We ourselves should take full advantage of the merits of mobile phones such as taking online courses, and avoid the draw backs such as wasting time on games and gossip. Only in this way can we make our life more meaningful and colorful.
