Nowadays, given the fragile global recovery and slow growth in international trade and investment, the role of traditional engines to drive growth has weakened, and new sources of economic growth have not yet formed. Development holds the master key to solving all problems. In pursuing the Belt and Road Initiative, we should focus on the fundamental issue of development, release the growth potential of various countries and achieve economic integration and interconnected development and deliver benefits to all. The construction of the Belt and Road Initiative is conducive to giving full play to the comparative advantages of all countries, expanding the converging point of interests,cultivating new development kinetic energy, promoting orderly and free flow of economic elements of all countries, and enhancing the vitality of global economic growth. Over the next five years, China will import more than $8 trillion in commodities and invest more than $750 billion in foreign direct investment. Among them, China will import $2 trillion in goods from countries along the Belt and Road and invest $150 billion in these countries. This will bring tremendous business opportunities for the development of countries along the Belt and Road.
