   A voluntary activity is now being held in our school, aimed at collecting books for children in poor areas in China.
   An activity "For the Children" was advocated by a volunteer teacher, Mr. Sun, who is now teaching in a small middle school in a remote village in Yunnan. According to him, students there are eager to learn, but they are so poor that they can't afford books. Therefore, my teacher encouraged us to donate books to help build a library for them.
   The next day, students in my class actively brought some books to school. Then the books were sorted, packed and delivered to Yunnan by mail. Children's books, novels, science fictions and comic strips are quite popular. I gave away dozens of my favorite books and hoped students there would like them.
   It is amazing to help build a library for people in need! Children there will have plenty of books to read as well as a better environment to learn. A little more effort, and we can make a big difference!
