Chinese Students Studying Abroad and Returning

The past decades between 1980 and 2014 have witnessed a mounting number of Chinese students studying abroad and returning from overseas.As is illustrated by the curve chart, the number of Chinese students studying abroad increased from 0 to 500,000 and that of returnees climbed to 350,000. Overall,both the figures were on the rise.
A multitude of factors may have led to the tendency revealed by the chart,but the following are the critical ones from my perspective. First, along with the development of Chinese economy, the number of Chinese studying abroad has been soaring, which has provided an expanding base for the number of returnees.In the second place, the globalization has made it much easier and more convenient for Chinese to study abroad.
The waves of students studying abroad and returnees will contribute to China’s development of industries, since they have brought back advanced science and technology. Also, they have introduced pioneering concepts of education, which can help to reserve talents, with more students going abroad and coming back from overseas, we have reasons to expect the promotion of international exchanges.
