【正确答案】Patience Is a Virtue
"All good things come to those who wait." I've found that to be true so many times in my life and I learned that patience is a virtue.
We may all have the unpleasant experience of being stuck in traffic, impatiently waiting for the car in front of us to speed up so that we can go home as soon as possible and enjoy a nice, mouthwatering meal that we've been craving all day long. In the same situation, people react totally differently. Some impatient people become agitated, sweaty, and hot, and end up with a car accident, while the patient ones sing or strike up a conversation with other passengers.
Still, we've all had been stuck at the express cashier lane, where our stomachs are growling, our mouths are dry and our feet are restless. We only have two options: either drop all the groceries and storm out of the supermarket, as angry as a rabid dog, or wait patiently until our turn comes. If we choose the former, we get nothing but anger and harm to our health. If we choose the latter, we pay our patience, and gain our groceries.
With the above examples, I guess there is no need to stress the point that patience is a virtue. Just take heed of this warning, "Be wary of your impatience, for it can eventually destroy you." And then remember this, "Be patient with thyself, and tempt fate you will." With patience, my friend, you'll live longer.
