To avoid plagiarism, we need to take actions from two sides-both prevention and correction are needed. For prevention, everyone should be taught lessons on the various forms of plagiarism and tell them the bad consequence if someone plagiarized. For correction, severe punishment is called for when plagiarism is discovered. In this way, people may fear for the bad effect of plagiarism and stop doing that.
