We should know the disposal of plastic bags alone has caused serious damage to the environment. Every day millions and millions of plastic bags are thrown away. In order to get rid of them, the government has to dump them in landfills or burn them. As a result, large areas of land are wasted, worst of all, poisonous chemicals being released from burning pollute the air, the land and ground water. So we must take measures to protect our environment, it is not only preserving our home but all the civilization of human community as well.
