Opportunity favors those who work hard. For example, Abraham Lincoln, the former President of the US, achieved great success in his life though he had little formal education. One of the reasons for his success was that he had been working hard for his lifetime. Thus, we can see that only the diligent ones who constantly try to achieve their goals are able to seek, recognize, and finally make full use of all the wonderful opportunities around them. That"s why opportunity favored Lincoln at last.
Opportunity favors those who are always prepared and qualified. Nowadays, talent shows are very popular among young people. Many people envy those who have got the crown, while few of them know the difficulties the winners have gone through. In my opinion, they seized the opportunity because they were prepared and qualified. I strongly believe the saying, "Opportunities are only for the prepared minds."
In conclusion, as students, we should continually work and study hard to be more prepared and qualified instead of complaining about lack of opportunities. Only in this way can we be able to obtain opportunities and make full use of them.
