   Starting up one's own business is never as easy as one thought. Although college graduates create thousands of new businesses every year, only a small proportion become successful that get reported and become role models. Most of these attempts failed and should be learned from.
   In December 2012, several graduate students in Chengdu attempted to open a restaurant. They claimed to have raised 200,000 RMB for their business and were very ambitious about their enterprise. According to their plan, in the first year, their main goal was to learn from the experience, and in five years, they would open 20 chain stores in Chengdu. However, because they hadn't graduated when starting the business, they had to devote most of their time and energy to their study. They did not have enough free time to manage their restaurant, which pretty soon fell into neglect. What's more, their restaurant was not widely popular with customers, who complained about bad flavor and short weight. Finally, after only four months, the restaurant was shut down.
   Failure also happened to another student Liu. After graduation, Liu began to open his own grocery store. He collected 10,000 RMB as his start-up capital and purchased his own goods. However, after only two months, he couldn't keep his store open since it was not making any money. He didn't quite understand the reason for his failure and decided to figure out.
