Dear Sir / Madam, 
    I’m writing to give some advice on low-carbon life so as to minimize the energy consumption, thereby reducing carbon dioxide emissions. 
    Firstly, I think we have to eat less meat. In this way we can not only help decrease carbon dioxide emissions, but also keep ourselves fit and strong. Besides, citizens are encouraged to take buses instead of taking cars, so that less oil is consumed and less gas-carbon dioxide is produced. Finally, we’d better save electricity, such as cutting down the time we spend watching TV, turning off lights 
    not in use, and so on. 
    I hope that we can make joint efforts to create a green and harmonious environment.
