My View on Job-hopping
Job-hopping is an emerging phenomenon in the modem society, which has attracted widespread concern. There is no consensus among people as to it. Some people insist on keeping one job all their lives, while others prefer to change jobs from time to time. To discuss whether people should job-hop or not, we should first of all get to know the reasons for their job-hopping. Personally, I think there are three reasons contributed to job-hopping.
For one thing, people job-hop because they cannot make the best of themselves in the former post. These people are usually confident and ambitious, therefore unwilling to do work unworthy of their talents. They keep changing jobs until finding a place where they can exert their talents and eventually realize their dreams. For another, some people are shouldering heavy economic burdens so that they have to find a job with a high salary. These people are never satisfied because they keep hearing about jobs that provide higher salary. In some cases, people even change jobs because they cannot bear the atmosphere in the original workplace. They either complain that the boss is too autocratic or express their detestation towards the colleagues. To these people, working in such a place is as insufferable as living in hell.
Job-hopping can not be judged arbitrarily as good or bad. Under some circumstances, job-hopping is unavoidable. One should be rational about changing his job. All in all, I strongly commit to the notion that job-hopping is acceptable for some people under certain circumstances, but should be practiced in a sensible way.
