① Warming up and Lead in
Draw a picture of schoolbag on the blackboard and ask students to discuss what can be put in it. In this way, the teacher can lead in the new words that might be used.
②Presentation of the new sentence pattern
Ask one of the students “what's in your schoolbag” and show all the students how to use this pattern to ask and answer questions.
③ Practice of the new pattern
Ask students work in pairs to practice the new pattern.

Show some pictures with different things in schoolbag on multimedia and ask students to describe.
