Some argue that hard work can benefit people, especially young people a lot by molding them into the strong-willed.However, I reckon that working hard under a certain age can pose more potential threats to the development of young people. Physically, excessive work may give rise to a number of undesirable outcomes, such as the deterioration of physical condition. What is more, many youngsters have developed some kinds of mental disorder ranging from depression, anxiety to even suicide.
Considering the seriousness of the negative effects, I think hard work should not be excessively valued and measures should be taken to create an environment where young people can feel less stressful.
