At first I was very anxious about my limited English and my knowledge of American customs. But when I arrived, I saw the host and hostess waiting for me at the airport with warm smiles of welcome on their faces, I immediately knew that everything was going to be all right. There are many happy memories that I will keep with me forever. There were so many new and different things for me to see and do. I particularly enjoyed visiting such famous places as Times Squares, Status of Liberty, Wall Street, the Fifth Avenue and I also enjoyed driving through the countryside and seeing the charming colors of the leaves on the trees. I liked playing basketball with the American children. They were very patient with me and it was full of fun. Now I'm back to China, but I cannot forget how friendly and kind everyone around me was and how wonderful the journey was.
