Report on Globelink and FTD Shipping Agents
Introduction
The objective of this report is to demonstrate and compare the services of Globelink and FTD as possible new agents for international freight.
Findings
Globelink has 25 years of experience in sea freight around the world. They also provide air freight, and we may need that for urgent orders. This company will finish all customs forms and offer all documentations.
FTD’s business is mainly in Europe. They provide refrigerated shipping and allow small orders, which would be useful for us. But the charges are a little higher at FTD than at Globelink.
Conclusions
Globelink is the choice, because this company will save us work on customs forms and cost less.
Recommendations
It is recommended that Globelink is chosen because of their international network and documentation service.
