Effect of Research Event on My Later Life and Work
Lots of incidents happen around us every day. Some have just gone as time passes by, while others are hard to forget. The most unforgettable incident for me is something happened in a course called business letter writing.
It was in the first semester of my junior undergraduate year. Once my teacher assigned us a task and told us he would give small quiz the next day. I completely forgot the homework. Thus, when taking the quiz the next day, I had to refer to the book. I was caught by the teacher. After class he didn't blame me, but told me genially that when we worked on something, the result was far from the aim of one's study or work and what was more important was the process. Years have passed since that incident, but still it was lively in my memory, because it taught me that there are still other things that are of greater significance than the result itself.
Later in my study, whenever I do something, I eared much about the process rather than just focus on the results. By behaving in this way, I felt relaxed when doing some work and gaining some unexpected achievements.
