As shown in the picture, a father shields his son with an umbrella which looks like a star. We can deduce from it that the son live under his famous father’s protection. Maybe he can enjoy what the fame brings him but he can never grow up. Besides, what the son can see is just a part of the world but not the whole truth. Lacking exposure to wind and thunderstorm keeps him as a vase in the greenhouse. All of these determine that he will not have a robust personality.

In my opinion, it is not a fault for parents to use their resources to create a good environment for their children. However, too much protection will not help children but run just the other way around because they will take it for granted that they should be treated like that. No one should disobey their willingness. This will lead to immorality such as the notorious claim “My father is Li Gang!” In addition to this, If parents indulge their children, they will never know how hard to earn money and lose the chance to be a competitive candidate when they apply for a job. If parents protect their children from the ugliness of human nature, they will have no antibody when they meet a villain because they believe everyone is kind and sincere.

In a word, whatever you have as a parent, whether a good reputation or a successful career, the trial of life is indispensable for everyone, including your children. You should not deprive your children of the opportunity to experience beat of life because only in this way can your children grow up and be strong enough to hold up their own sky.
