My View on the Income Gap
The income gap is getting wider and wider. In some privately-owned firms, joint - ventures, or foreign owned companies, an manager's yearly income can be ten times or even a hundred times as much as an ordinary worker's.
In terms of the income gap, people will undoubtedly have different opinions. Some believe that the gap is beneficial to' the social and economic development since if encourages people to work harder. Others speak of its side effect. It is often the root of social unrest and public dissatisfaction.
From my point of view, while it is true that the income gap may stimulate the social development to some extent, it causes trouble as well. If the gap is too wide for most people to bear, it can neither benefit the stability of our country nor promote our economic development. To conclude, we should tolerate the narrow income gap but try to narrow the wide one.
