We’re almost arriving at the most wretched situation of all times. Any nation with slight strength of character in the world cannot afford to endure it. There’s nothing we can do but fight this war. Once the war is started, we will not be given the chance of compromise because we are a weak nation. To lose any bit of our territory or sovereignty will make us the sinner of the Chinese nation of all ages. In the event of war, all people, north and south, young and old, must shoulder the responsibility of defending our country, and resolve to sacrifice everything to win the battle.
