(Take back Picture 1 and put Picture 2 for Candidates in front of both candidates.)
【正确答案】Candidate A:
From the pictures, we can see one boy is fishing beside a river and the other boys are playing basketball. We know that hobbies can benefit people. Of course, you can have other hobbies, such as collecting stamps, playing football, swimming, reading and so on. They are also beneficial to people's physical and mental health. Studies show that patients can recover sooner from mental or physical illness if they have hobbies. So we should have our own hobbies.
Interlocutor:
Thank you. Now, Candidate B, could you please ask your partner a question?
(Half a minute for asking and answering the question.)
Candidate B:
Then what kind of activities should we engage in?
Candidate A:
I think we'd better take part in outdoor activities actively. Although indoor activities have many advantages, outdoor activities are more important for us students. First of all, outdoor activities can do good to our physical health. We will become more energetic and stronger. Secondly, they are beneficial to our mental health. We can learn how to face the challenge and pressure properly. So why don't we do more outdoor activities?
Candidate B:
From the picture, we can see it's late night but two children are still watching TV. Neither of them wants to sleep. This phenomenon is very common nowadays. Television has been part of people's life. And many children have formed the habit of watching TV for lung hours a day. This has caused panic among parents and teachers because it may have very bad effects on children. Children are easily influenced by some negative things. I think parents should remind children of resisting the temptation and the bad influence of TV programs.

Thank you. Now, Candidate A, could you please ask your partner a question?
(Half a minute for asking and answering the question.)
Candidate A:
What negative influence can TV programs have?
Candidate B:
I think this covers the following points. Firstly, there ate a lot of violent programs that may mislead children. Secondly, sitting in front of the television set all day is bad for their eyesight—many children have worn glasses. Finally, watching TV is not creative. I think it is very important for everybody to do something creative, such as writing or painting. Undoubtedly, parents are responsible for helping children deal with the relation with TV.
Interlocutor:
Thank you. That is the end of the test.
