【正确答案】正确答案: Globalization Doesn't Equal to Americanism If we talk about globalization ten years ago, probably it is not so popular as to be taken as a big issue. But now if someone say globalization can be avoided in this or that method, you will be laughed by a lot. It is the contrary case for the term Americanization, which was thought to have " prehistoric power "to influence the whole world including China, while today it is treated calmly by most of us. For me, I don't think globalization equals to Americanism. To equal globalization to Americanism is inevitable at certain historical period under the complex dynamic factors interaction including politics, economy, technology and culture. The US ranked the top in various aspects. Some people were worried that globalization is not good because it actually means Americanization, which had some reasons in it. But with the development of technology and economy of China, the phenomenon has an essential turn over. To take Olympics as an example, the powers of sports decentralize from the previous hegemony Americanism, which suggests that more and more countries have a say in the world affairs directly or indirectly. So, it is outdated to say globalization equals to Americanism. On the contrary, we should learn much in this process. This is my opinion and the reason why I am for this.
