Salary and Leisure

Job seekers, especially students, show their great concerns about finding jobs. Most of them want to make a balance on salary and leisure, and they find it difficult to do so.

Many people tend to choose high-paying job with long hours owing to the burden of purchasing cars and houses, whose prices are often unbearable. Higher-paying jobs are often decent. Staffs sit in spacious and bright offices, work on advanced computers and enjoy delicious food at meal time. They enjoy the welfares of paid-vacation or corporation activities. However, they may sacrifice their time with families and friends, putting all their heart to work even at the cost of adequate sleeping time.

As for low-paid jobs, most of the things are just right opposite to those of high-paid jobs. Besides, positions of low-paid jobs are not very stable. Some job seekers have to change their ideas because of the limited salary and the swaying position. They are afraid of getting fired. However, a lower-paying job with shorter hours often means that they will have more time with families and friends.

As for me, maybe I will choose jobs with lower wages but flexible time. Because in my opinion, families and parents are the most important liabilities of one person, and they can bring us sense of happiness, which cannot buy even with a lot of money.
