Scottsvale Public Library is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a special exhibition tracing the evolution of the local community from 1850 to the present. The exhibition was inaugurated on Saturday by Bill Hewitt, the Scottsvale mayor, who (39) the audience that the library had always brought Scottsvale's diverse communities closer together. "By giving everyone an opportunity to study, the library promotes mutual (40) among our citizens, which in turn leads to the enhancement of our community values," he said (41) the library is a non-profit making institution, it does accept donations from both private individuals and corporate sponsors. Indeed, without the support of many generous benefactors, the library (42) able to acquire its unique collection of documents and photographs, many of which are on display at the exhibition.
