①He who changes the condition or requirement to make the students feel comfortable and interested so that they can improve their knowledge on the original basis.
②He who makes the learning a process of keeping on studying. The way to success is combined by one point and then another. Yet there are still boundless new points waiting for the students to have them come true.
③He who aims at the final success that is to help the students make further progress, get the habit of advancing and arouse the inner need of self-improving.
④Bear in mind that every student has the willing of success.
During the teaching, teachers with care can observe that when we want to teach and learn new knowledge and ask the students to fulfill the tasks, most of them want a go but some dare not do so because they are afraid to fail. This shows their oppression in study. As a teacher, we must know it clearly. In fact, all of the students are eager to answer the questions in heart. It is their willing to be successful. They just need a little bit of encouragement to make them feel more comfortable and confident. Sometimes,teachers should give chances to those who seldom raise their hands and lead them to a more confident way of learning.
⑤Remember that each student has latent capacity waiting for the teachers to excavate.
Teachers should be able to teach different things and different students in different ways or methods. This means they should be able to teach students in accordance with their aptitude and make their teaching adjustable. Thus, the students‘ potentialities can be excavated out.
⑥Help students learn English from interest to success.
Interest is the best teacher. Where there is interest there is hope. At the beginning, every learner intends to make good effort aiming at success and believing that perseverance spells success. But making great effort is not always easy. We need a strong will to conquer the tiger. So teachers should use every possible means to keep the students‘ interest going on.
⑦Cultivate the students‘ self-confidence and strong wills.
These two psychological characteristics are very important. Self-confidence is the first psychological quality to the persons who can gain achievement. But we must admit that self-confidence does not always lead to success. Education through frustration is also important not only in learning a language but also for one‘s future life. Failure is the mother of success. Students need to see the shining points in their failure and ask themselves what is the main cause of their failure. Hereby they can get ready to succeed next time instead of getting discouraged. So, always tell our students “We are going to succeed.”
