【答案解析】The Difference in Income Sources
From the chart above, it can be seen clearly that the income sources of American and Chinese students are quite different. 50% of the American students" income comes from their parents, and 35% from part-time jobs, and 15% from scholarships. However, as for Chinese students, among their income, 90% comes from their parents, the incomes from part-time jobs and scholarships takes up only 6% and 4% respectively.
There are many reasons behind this phenomenon. Firstly, it is a long-time tradition that Chinese parents support their children"s education and life. Secondly, American students have been educated to be independent since their childhoods. They are encouraged to make their pocket money through their labor. Finally, compared with American universities, the scholarships provided by Chinese universities are not enough to meet most of Chinese students" needs.
From my point of view, Chinese students should learn to be more independent. Like American students, Chinese students can do some part-time jobs. on one hand, this can release their families" financial burdens. on the other hand, they can acquire some practical experience.
