The Jazz Age
It describes the period of the 1920s and 1930s, the years between World WarⅠand World WarⅡ, particularly in north America. With the rise of the Great Depression, the values of this age saw much decline. Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby highlights what some describe as the decadence and hedonism as well as the growth of individualism. He is largely credited with coining the term.
