The most important person in my life is the lady who sells me bean curd for breakfast. This may seem strange, but I have come to realize how much she means to me.
She is the first person I see every day-she is always there at six in the morning outside my building, and always talks to me with a kind smile. Over the years, I have gradually gotten to know her. She was born in a village outside the city. The village has always been poor, and she left years ago to look for a better life. It's hard for her to find a good job, but she works hard and sends the money to her family back home. Whenever I feel like complaining about my problems, I think about her, her life, and the way she smiles when talking about her family.
Her service to me is not great. Yet she reminds me that kindness is important, whether it is great or small, to family or to strangers.
